This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, tracking, advertising or profiling services. It loads no fonts, scripts, videos, maps or other media from third-party servers, and it contains no social media plug-ins. No consent banner is therefore required, and no consent is requested.
The website is hosted on a server operated in Germany. Each time a page is accessed, the web server automatically records the following data, which your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the requested file or path, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, the referring page where applicable, and the browser and operating system identifier.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security, and to detect and trace attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the site. Log data is rotated daily and deleted after 30 days. It is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify individual visitors.
The server is a dedicated machine rented from Host Europe GmbH, Cologne, Germany, and administered exclusively by Sciomics GmbH. The provider supplies the hardware, the data centre and the network connection. To the extent that the provider is thereby able to access personal data, it acts as a processor on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.
This site uses TLS encryption for all connections. Encrypted connections can be recognised by the https:// prefix in the address bar of your browser.
If you contact us using the address given on this site, the data you provide (your name, your email address, your company where stated, and the content of your message) is processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or to pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us. Your data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply. Commercial and tax retention periods remain unaffected.
Please note that email is not an encrypted means of communication unless you use encryption yourself. We ask you not to send confidential or particularly sensitive information by email.
The poster presented on this site is made available on request. If you request it by email, we process your name, email address and, where given, your organisation in order to send you the document. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, since the processing serves to fulfil the request you have made.
